Adaptive refresh rate for display only changes (adapts) when brightness is around 20% or higher at low brightness it stays locked at 120 hz. My s21 ultra not getting below 60hz even when brightness at 50%.

Need to plug in AKG original earphone to do factory reset, wipe cache partition etc. Continue normal procedure with AKG earphone plugged in. I found out it applies to s21 series and note 20 series. Maybe many other models also.

AoD notify app will interfere with AoD setting in phone. Like tap to show not activating.

Use Galaxy Max Hz app. My refresh rate varies from 48 to 120 Hz. Using N20U here.

From where did you purchased AKG type C earphones? And for what price?

I got it when I purchased note 20 came in box in January. I think price is 3000 rs. If you are going to purchase type c to 3.5 mm earphone adapter, you should buy the cheapest adapter. Because it won't have a DAC chip in it, only straight wire connection. If the Adapter has DAC chip your phone 99% will not play audio through it, and you will get a notification that the usb device is not supported. Check it by connecting with phone before paying.
