I have Samsung S24 Ultra from Canada and hence wasn't able to enjoy the full 5g advantage in India with Jio. Now switched to Airtel and man the speed here is almost to the level back in Canada.
For anyone having a Canadian unit, do not cheap out to Jio switch to Airtel instead.
The reason why 5G enabled S24 ultra doesn't work with Jio is because of the fact that Samsung hasn't turned on the bands in India which Jio uses.
On the other hand, Airtel uses NSA( Non Standalone Agreement) which means that their network can easily switch between 5g/4g/3g depending upon the network conditions anywhere.
Just my two cents and update for people who bring their devices from abroad.
