I have encrypted my SD card. But it didn't ask to set any password.. If my current phone is broken, what is the option to make my SD card work in some other phone?

There's no password needed. It can only be decrypted by the same device without any password input from your side. In case, you format or lose your phone, you can always format the SD card.
