By 2014, most high-end devices had 3GB of RAM and during 2016 and 2017 4GB became the de facto standard. Then the spec wars started. First came devices with 6GB, then 8GB, then 10GB, then 12GB — where will it end?

not all play games on their phones this article gives a fake representation of facts . the writer has not made its clear assumptions so i my opinion the article is completely baised on gaming phones . the manufacturer are making bait to attract more customers to buys the phones with 6 7 9 etc phones in order to take more profits from previous generations of phones but the fact is people buy previous models most i am telling that most people buy phones from previous generations not all

lol it takes max upto 4gb or 3.5 .it doesnt take 8gb ram ...gta V takes 4gb ram .pubg is way smaller then gtaV

dude! its a ram hungry app(pubg) the more ram u give the better FPS stability u get
ofcourse gpu matters but i think u can't run pubg on 4gb ram at above 60fps😶
