At first whenever i drop my phone in water,it detects water and it dont allows me to charge the phone unless until its usb slot totally dries out,but nowadays it wont detect water and after having water in usb slot it still charges my phone...
Did someone notices the same thing or after updates it stops notifying???

let me clear one thing first ...it's ip68 water resistant 30 minutes in 1.5 meter...Samsung introduced that features if by chance device fall into water then someone can quickly withdrawn it . ,,it doesn't mean that anyone play that device inside water ...water contains salt minerals ions which allow faster entry of solvent if solute concentration is high ......and sorry to say no warranty for water damage and none of the service center recommends it to put device inside water frequently....if by chance motherboard will gone then you will be the looser only

i dont play with my phone in water...its jst like sometimes my phone get wet in rain,at first my phone notifies me abt water detection in charging port but nowadays it doesnt notifies me but it works perfectly...

ok ... then it's good because if charging port not wet totally then there will be no notification ..then also use it when it will completely dry

okay,and why they will not give me warranty if water gets inside the phone without any physical damage?? this phone is capable to take into water (Example- swimming pool)...who will know tht i dropped it into the pool or by mistake it gets wet in rain

no warranty for water damage, cosmetic issue etc .... nothing to do because it's rules of every company who made water resistant device not only Samsung
