unlock when restarting

I wanted to change the unlock settings when restarting the phone.... 

Currently only pattern works I want to change it to fingerprint. How do I do that...

It's Google's security policy. so every time we restart will ask PIN or pattern..

i have set only pin and not pattern when i restart it ask for pin

to set for pin
setting -lock screen - screen lock type - then change it

after restart, no fingerprint option available. as all services start after phone start so not possible.

I think he is talking about secure startup option ...where only pattern is available

in lock screen settings, you have option to change it pin. Even u have 4 digit or 6 digit pin option and also you can create alpha numeric characters
