touch doesnt work for finger tips

After got wet my galaxy note 8 for few drops of rain touch screen doesn't work for finger tips.only work with pen.
This is the very first time it was get wet after I purchased 2017 August.
When I pre ordered It says this phone is water resistant.
I'm really disappointed and such waste of my money

Water resistant means protection against water and not use under water. You should be disappointed.
