planning for note 8

i have s7 edge 1.5 years old running fine just got pink line out of now where,.now im planning to buy note 8 but i have few questions like how well does the palm rejection works? in s7 edge it sucks and i can hardly use the phone while laying on the bed.the typing is too difficult.
moreover does the note 8 also has the pink line issue coz many samsung device have this issue and the phones not under warranty can not be changed.
Again coz of the curved screen in s7 edge i uave used more than 10-12 screen guards they just peel off from the edges in just 1 week can cant even used tempered glass.and the note 8 edges are less curved so do u also face the same problem?

don't buy note 8 wait for s9 s9plus its more better than note8 and new exynos chip better performance and also iris + face recognition

Hi Saurabh. I have seen the pink line issue in S7edge. I don't why it keeps occuring to people.

Answering the questions:

Palm rejections is done very well in Note 8. And youre not gonna face any issues on it.

Screen protectors are hard to find. I tried 2 tempered glass and then later I had to take it off because dust was creeping in. I have heard good reviews about Whitestone Dome glass but I havent tried. Now I'm using it without a screenguard and there are very micro scratches which are not visible always. But thats what it is.

Before making a decision wait for the release of S9 series which will happen in 10 days. The chipset is not going to be a upgrade but I'm curious about what other features Samsung wil include. So take a decison after that.

If S9 doesnt have a deal breaking feature, then Note 8 is going to be the best choice. The price will be lesser. And being a Samsung user from Note 4, I have noticed that Samsung flagships also don't age very well. Even the S8plus starts stuttering in 2 months. But I can assure that Note 8 will be ageing well. That extra 2Gigs of RAM has made a huge difference and the experience is unbelievable.. The cameras are fantastic and now the Google pixel 2 camera is ported for samsung devices and the Note front camera is taking unbelievable portrait shots

there is big issue is Note 8 called light bleeding... it is a physical issue with note 8 display.... more then 75 percent note 8 user affected by this ... but Samsung does not accept that ... it is not a big problem you can only see light in dark ... you will not notice in light or daylight
