Hi my Samsung note 8 international version has a status bar drop down problem. it doesn't work with finger touch but works fine with s pen . it works when the phone is on the lock screen. No screen protectors applied..

Clean the screen then restart your phone then clear cache data .

The screen protector must be the problem creator. If you have put on one of them, remove it and try using your phone. The problem would get solved, as I had faced a similar issue.

sir there is no screen protector ..did clear cache and also reset the phone as advised ...It's not working ..
the finger touch status bar though works on the lockscreen ...rest of the pages only pen touch is working ..kindly anybody has any solutions...

waow finally it worked!!!..the first suggestion
Navigate to apps >> Settings >> Apps >> Tap on three dots >> Reset app preferences.

- Navigate to settings >> General management >> Reset >> Reset settings.
THE KEY TO SUCCESS I THINK IS KEEP TRYING TWICE THRICE THE SAME EVEN IF YOU FAIL TO GET RESULTS ..IT FINALLY WORKED IN MY CASE !

my exonos version galaxy note 8 is not rooted ..on trying to open the s health i get the error cant be opened on a rooted device .kindly can any.one offer a help .
