bought my note 8 1 week before...and widout having any contact with water it is showing check ur usb port ....after cleaning again it shows the same ....shame on note 8.
it happened same with my S7Edge a month back. take old tooth brush clean both the ports (charger and phone's charging point) softly and it will charge normally. In my Note 8 I have not faced this issue till now.
