ever since I got the oreo update for note 8 , I feel like selling my phone. Feel regreated for making a mistake and buying this phone over Apple and other standard brands. I tried contacting customer care threw emails and even did screen mirror once. they have 101 steps to follow but end the same bad result. the customer care I spoke to asked me to take my phone to the service centre close by and she promised they will 're install the previous version but I will need to pay for that too. samsung is a cheat and has no standards of checking or help to there customers. big mistake spending 1000$ on a phone not even worth 200 in software standard.. I wish one plus could take the hardware and make a more standard phone for the price rate samsung sold this phone. I feel bad I supported samsung during the note 7 scenario to again find a more crappy version spending more with better battery and camera

I have done screen mirror and all resets. And my phone is not from India. So I am sure as I have previous experience with samsung stating we can't help you as it's not from India. It's just the software update.. which I am not happy about. before the update to oreo I never had any issues or complaints. I had been to samsung asking to downgrade my software. which they denied and stated we will again do a factory reset and male you looks all ur files. I have done it several times my self still the same issue. I tried access safe mode too.. Still it hangs and the battery won't last for 3 hrs only if watch a movie in 60% brightness and with headphones

You can try hard resetting your phone on your own(vol down + Bixby +Power, hold till Samsung logo appears) and if that doesn't work out you can goto service centre and don't worry they won't charge you for anything till the time your phone is under warranty(except for liquid or fall damage).
Yes I'm saying this even though Samsung's own executive told you otherwise because I had one such experience with earlier Samsung phone. Exec told me it will be charged and they did it for free because phone was under warranty.

Oreo update is useless!! SAMSUNG YOU have made a bad mistake with the Oreo update !! bring back all the features we liked earlier from the notifications perspective!!
