Nothing is bad in this. Note 20 Ultra uses an ultrasonic sensor which does not work well woth all tempered glasses. You have to use specific ones which support ultrasonic fingerprint sensors.

Temper glass is not suitable in case of ultrasonic biometrics(same with S10+)..go for screen protector or branded tempered glass

It is not the devices problem its the tempered glass thats disrupts the ultra sonic scanner on the note 20. Every phone that uses an ultrasonic shows this.
