expensive screen replacement for galaxy note 8

please samsung try to understand i am a college student who uses samsung galaxy note 8 gifted by my father(the expensive phone) and unfortunately i broke it, the glass is shattered and when i contacted the service centre the shocking price tag for screen replacement was rs. 17,200
if you dont realise that it is just too expensive(atleast for me considering i dont work somewhere currently) some discount would be generous

AMOLED screens are expensive and cost a lot to replace, it has always been that way. Ask your father to pay for it.

It's not just a glass. The display and glass are fused together. You need to replace both of them. Not possible replace just the glass like in old LCD phones.
