Whatsapp hanging issue

Since few days I'm facing whatsapp not responding issue on my note 10 lite.

Whenever im on a video or audio call, at some point the voice breaks and video just hangs.

Then after that a pop up is shown that whatsapp not responding.

Then I had to force stop the app and restart it again

Also after restarting the app the call hangs.

But when I restart my phone, the issue resolves.

Why is this happening?

I have tried reinstalling the app numerous times also, but facing the same issue again and again.

Somebody please help me in this. I'm just fed up.
