We can't downgrade it unless you uninstall and intall older version again, but you can lost last messages not included in last message backup!

Just cross your finger waiting the fixing update ASAP!

I also have the same problem. We can only wait for a new update for the fix. A few days ago, all whatsapp beta updates have been coming with problems. It is complicated.
