Being beta tester includes that things. If you want to test new versions you have to be prepared to carry on that things, new features and new bugs. Fortunately they moved fast to fix the issue.

We can't downgrade it unless you uninstall and intall older version again, but you can lost last messages not included in last message backup!
Just cross your finger waiting the fixing update ASAP!
Me too. Even we're beta testers, I can't understand why WhatsApp release a version with that huge problem that could impact million of users in a few hours!
