Voice Recorder

Why the hell does the Voice Recorder needs permission of Nearby devices and Phone to do a normal voice recording. It doesn't even start if you don't give these permissions!

This is just outright breach on customers' control of their devices.

Ha ha.. Risk is all your, to update or not to update. We already took it and now facing it. 😅 But to be very true, it is not a bug.. it clearly breach of trust when permissions are forced.

When i m opening this link, it directs me to default recorder which is already installed and asking permission. That's why asking you the device and Ui version

I didn't had it installed...

I installed it now... It did not asked me for those additional permission

I am on A51, OneUI 3.1 Android 11

I thought Android 12 will give users more control but here it is taking away controls and forcing users to give unnecessary permissions.

Don't know bro.. one side they are saying every permission is in you hand and otherside without permission apps are not working. Thats scamsung for us.

Is there any feedback mechanism to tell Samsung devs about our issues ?

Yes, there is a option to send error reports in this app, we can also use it for feedback but I highly doubt they will listen to this concern of rights and all.
