Some of the Note9 & Note10 Users are in a Confused State regarding the working State of Type C 2 Usb Vs Type C 2 HDMI Cable for the Functioning of Dex & Screen Mirroring.. So Let me Put Some Light on it...
This Post is on the basis of my Personal Experiment on LED TVs of 2018 Models (Samsung, LG) & Hp Laptops (Window7 & Window10)..
1. If you want both the Tasks (Dex & Mirroring) with Single Cable then it is Only Possible with Type c 2 HDMI Cable (Branded only) and that too, if your External Display have Female HDMI in-Out Port. Since even if they have Female Usb port , then also it won't work till 2018's LED TVs, no pre installed drivers are available till 2018 or Even with 2019 Models for type C 2 Usb working Module...
2. And if you want to work with Exclusively on Dex with your Laptop or Desktop then Type c 2 Usb Cable is Enough for your task but Remember in this mode most of Live Streaming Video Apps are not Supportive..
So you have to Choose your Cable Accordingly, There are certain Adapters also available for this Purpose but Still their Support is Questionable ???
