I have a Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra exynos version which I bought in Aug 2020 since then the phone worked fabulous but after the September update my phone started to heat up as if it will blast any second , I had to turn it off for the device to cool down.
Even the glue of the back panel of my device started to ooz out from the sides and the back glass is completely loose and shaking. I even wrote to Samsung CEO but they give a misscall on my number and send a email saying my phone was unreachable.
Now since past 3 days my display is showing a vertical green line on the right side of the display without any physical damage, not even once in two years this device had not suffered any physical impact yet the display has gone bad.

I am trying to reachout to Samsung CEO/ Customer service from 24/Sep/2022 but no solution yet, service center executives told me it will be paid replacement.

I have been a loyal Samsung users since the release of Samsung Note 3 , and this is what a loyal customer gets :(

Does anyone has any idea regarding how to file a consumer court complaint from Mumbai ?

Edit 1 : 25/OCT/2022

Our community is so weak that no one even replied to my query , that's the reason Samsung is getting away with all this shaddy behavior ,very sad this too see.

Edit 2 : 14/NOV/2022

After contacting through CEO mail , my Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra was repaired at Free of Cost.

Thank you Samsung.

That's really a strange thing, the back panel glue coming off so easily

Diwali time bro. You will not get fast reply this week.

Wipe Cache from Recovery.
If this does not fix issue, Factory Reset is your best bet. It's good to do it after MAJOR OS update.

This may sound silly but it really fixes 99% issues with this (if it's not hardware related).
As you confirm that there is no physical damage, it will be good to try this. Let's hope it's some major software glitch and not hardware related issue.

Backup all data first

Connect phone to PC/laptop and use Samsung Smart Switch to take backup.
Keep the cable connected & then trigger Factory Reset from Recovery Menu.

Power Off phone (keep cable connected), hold Vol. Up & Power till Android robot appears.
Then -> Wipe Cache -> Factory Reset -> Wipe Cache again.
Let the phone download updates, sync up data after first boot (phone will get hot during this period).
Then after few hours, connect cable and restore all data.

For me, there are no issues (yet) for my Note 20 Ultra (Exynos). 1 year completed so far.

So you saying green line issue solves 99% times by just factory resting ?

As you say, "there is no physical damage..." so it's possibility of major software glitch.
If you have never Factory Reset after MAJOR OS update, it's worth a try.
It will also make your phone a lot smoother and get rid of unwanted cache, apps.
We install so many apps that we forget to selectively uninstall them.
Also, don't use any 3rd party apps (.apk files)...these will cause problems and security issues.

In addition to taking backup, make sure to 'remember' app logins/passwords. I hope you have turned on Google Smart Lock or Samsung Pass.
Or just change those if not done in a long long time.

Ok so as per your suggestion I tried factory resetting the device after taking all the backup but yet the green line issue remains :( although device feels likes new and super smooth 😝

Great!
If geeen line still exists, then it's definitely hardware/display issue.

Mobile will be extremely smooth now, yes. And it will also fix any annoying bugs.
Don't forget to update all the apps from Play Store, Galaxy Store.

If you are going to submit your phone immediately for repairs, don't copy/update anything...submit it like that only.

Hmm, I read about FOC notification from Samsung. Weird policy.
They should do it for Note 20 Ultra...it's a flagship device.
Send mail to the service head and then CEO from website support section.
