Dear Samsung

Please release September update for Note 20 Ultra 5g as it is really irritates that the latest flagship which costs over a lakh rupees is lagging behind in the update department.

Please look into the matter.

It is on its way. It already already OTA in Germany. Hopefully it will be aired very soon.

Galaxy Note 20

Tagged with the version number N98xxXXS1ATH9, the new OTA for the Galaxy Note 20 series is intended for the Exynos-powered international models. Both the 4G (SM-N980F and SM-N985F) and the 5G (SM-N981B and SM-N986B) variants are now getting the update in Germany and the SEE region, which is Samsung’s code for South East Europe. The official changelog doesn’t mention anything other than the obvious bump in the Android security patch level.

Thank you for the info. But Samsung should at least provide security patches for recent flagships as early as possible and within first week of the month. This is the main issue with Samsung devices.

I am using Samsung devices for last 10 years and I have seen remarkable difference in providing updates. let's hope it will even better. Atleast for Note 20 they promise 3 major updates.

3 year update is promised by Samsung from S9+ devices till the current flagship. Means N20 U 5g will get updates till Android 13.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Samsung states thad SM-N986 are tested for 5G Sub6 networks. Not tested under 5G mmwave network. Thus I belive it has both bands but they have tested only Sub6.
