This is to report that we are very disappointed with the new scam with your company asking for money for the repair of screens just after warranty (early warranty finish) . Our mobile samsung s20 plus while using appeared a vertical green colour line out of no where after the update of the mobile and when checked with the service center , they said screen needs replacement and will be charged 12k plus . This is unacceptable as we didn't do anything that marks a physical damage. This is common accross samsung users after updates and all over the place in google and Samsung community. Very unfortunate that the customers are looted with this kind of hardware scam. This needs to be addressed and justice expected. Kindly look into the matter at the earliest. I need someone to contact from the head office. Case number attached

Hello, someone had posted days ago that they got a discount by writing a mail to the ceo office , mentioning the fact that this is a widespread issue. He apparently got a discount

this is not something that the company can prevent. even bug fixes do bring more bugs. and if your screen has this problem then you can't simple go blame them. All Other devices of your model did'nt get this problem. 

But why don't you ask them to test another display first?? if the new display works good then it must have been not any software issue.

 

And last thing , please stop saying this as a scam... no company (at least like samsung ) doews all this intentionally

This is known hardware fault with s20 series, many people have posted complaints both on samsung members and samsung community forum. Won't classify this as a scam but least the company can do is offer a discount since this is a widespread issue.

Today when i went to the service center there were many mobiles with green line like us, pink line and what so colour.... When you take a screenshot this line isn't there in pic, so it's the display issue.... When asked with the service centre , they have a solution for it and guess what the solution is, change the display and would cost 17k plus gst plus labour cost. They already know wat the issue is without even inspecting.
We are here have a good mobile for a long term use and we do care when it's expensive. We are not here to pay for any random hardware issue incurred due to Samsung updates. And its not 1k or 2k it's 17k .
Imagine the number of customers facing this problem, the service charges just to know the solution as screen replacement pays 177 rupees each .
I've got a call from head office and they said they will look into the case again.
Sir when you will face the issue for mobile u care so much u will understand.

Rightly said, service centre has asked me to replace motherboard & s-pen. After the new update facing 3 major issue, mobile network gets disconnect automatically. S-pen working but showing disconnected. Echo voice when put the phone on speaker. Don't know what to do. 😭

This is a known issue. There were atleast 20 cases reported on this platform itself about the same problem on s20plus after updates. Please don't speak on things about which you have got no clues. Thank you.

Updates are given for making the experience better so it's the brand duty to test it properly before releasing it. No one from Samsung replies here, it's a members community. So, you can either mail to CEO or file a case.
