Hi all,

I think Samsung should provide Macro shoot feature on it's camera app through a OS update on Note10 series. Else there is no future proofing for our highly cost device. After Note10 was released Macro feature is in boom, which Note10 is missing.

Samsung please provide Macro shoot feature in Galaxy Note10 (if possible) ASAP.

And guys please support me more and more in this good initiative.

You need a proper camera lens to take macro photos, you can't add it through software. every camera lens focuses at a certain distance, and the cameras on the Note 10 can't focus as closely as a macro lens. also, remember that the newer phones with macro cameras don't have a 2x zoom lens, so they're actually more limited than your flagship phone as far as zooming is concerned.

What abt many flagship phones like Oppo Find X2 with 10x hybrid zoom and same ultrawide lense used to capture macro shots

Find X2 has different sensors, it's not like they added macro to existing phones. X2 Pro has 48MP ultrawide, so it can take 48MP image and crop it to emulate macro. Again, it's based on camera sensor type.

why dont you use logic before posting. Even DSLR camera requires macro lens for macro shots. it's not update based so the phone too need macro lens. So do your research first before posting . I am not taking sides but your post was absurd. cheers🤔🙄

I never knew that Macro and Ultrawide lense needs to be different entities..b'coz since last year end, many Chinese brands are making use of Ultrawide lense to capture Macro shots. But I knew Macro is a separate lense form.
