Samsung Note 20 ultra 5g - Spen is getting disconnected after pulling out

Spen in my note 20 ultra gets disconnected as soon as I pull it out.. and it asks me to insert it back to connect. 
When I insert it, it gets connected after a while and status changes to Ready. But as soon as I pull it out, it gets disconnected again.
Basically it's in unusable condition and issue started coming up after the last update which was OCTOBER security patch.
This issue has been reported by many other users as well, a couple of them have posted on this app as well as in The group on telegram.

Can you please fix it asap?

@SamsungSupport- please resolve this issue, 100% this issue came post software update all sudden. The temporary solutions are not working and even service center guys are clueless.

Hello !

I am being a bit technical about your issue. (Apologies for that)

This phone has aged, and so has the S Pen. Now, this S Pen also has a tiny bettery inside. You can also check the charge percentage of S Pen when it is connected.

My fair guess is that the battery has lost its power holding capacity and gets disconnected as soon as it is out of the housing.

Do you know someone who has the same phone, and can you try connecting another S Pen to your phone for testing.

Does the tablet provide air commands and air actions ?

What kind d of case or cover you have on Note 20 Ultra ? Does that include any magnet ?

Bro how can it be possible that multiple people have started facing same issue after the last software update. Let's say you are right about the battery, is battery aging dependent on the software update, and if magnet cover is the issue, why did it work for 3 years and suddenly after last month update it stopped working for all. I have faced an issue Previously with my fingerprint sensor and it didn't work for almost a year. But suddenly after the software was renamed to Samsung wallet, and Spay was replaced with samsung wallet, when I installed that, something was reset and finger print sensor started working again and it has been working for 2 years now.
It may be technical but don't think it's always the hardware age, it could be a software issue too.

I just wanted to let you know a few probable reasons for S Pen not working.

Yes ! It could be a software thing as well. But there is no way to establish that as a fact.

No bro, nothing to do with you. Don't worry, I am not angry/upset either.
I am used to these tactics now, after finger print sensor, pink/green lines in the screen this is another one that they are trying.
As far as testing is concerned, this can be verified by and established. It's not a big deal.
I just need another N20 Ultra, and spen can be exchanged & tried in that phone. This is the simplest method to check. Software versions need to be checked.
Other way out is to reset phone and try.
3rd method is to downgrade the phone to previous version and use Spen.
If any of the method works, that will establish the software issue.
If spen of other device is working that will establish the fact that there is a hardware issue with my spen only.

Spen has capacitor, the question is if the capacitor has gone bad it should not work while writing on notes but except for air commands everything works fine

Same issue I get after October security patch update, all process done but not solve issue.
It's due to software update.
