As my phone is almost 2.5 years old, its battery is dying gradually, so I thought of looking up the replacement cost for my device but I was astonished to see that all the Galaxy phones except Note10+ have the replacement cost below 3k INR whereas, for my device, Samsung is charging a whopping amount of 7k INR.

Samsung phones battery replacement cost.

Can anybody explain to me the fact why is Samsung charging so much for an almost 3 years old device?

Phones like Note 10 and Note 20 ultra have less battery replacement cost.

It would be great if someone from the community could explain to me the huge price difference.

Thanks in advance.

The cost of new battery for Note 10 plus is Rs.2511 in the Samsung website itself. Where have you checked this price??!! Screenshot_20220205-094806_Chrome.jpg

Sure bro. 7k seems too much for a battery. Please check and confirm 🙂

Yeah it must be a typo on the site. I had asked once in customer care. They said something around 3k. That must include their charges as well.

Even I want to get my Note10's battery replaced. It's my secondary phone and lot's of personal data is stored on it. I was wondering whether service centre asks for my passcode also if they want to replace just the battery?
