As we have seen in Galaxy S9 this year it uses a combination of Iris Scanners And Face Unlock (Camera) to determine the user's face which then unlocks the phone, this is more secure than Face Unlock And Faster than just iris scanning. I think Samsung should include this feature (Intelligent Scan) in next updates for the Galaxy Note 8 And Galaxy S8/S8+ as they all have hardware capabilities to do so without any problem, and we all as a consumer paid alot for our devices.
