I miss that feature too. It was amazing that I was able to import my hand written notes on paper to a S Note notebook and do with the content everything I wanted.
I was able to change part of the text rearrange the drawings, change the shapes and colors of my handwritten charts. Digitization and extending of my paper notes was easy and awesome.
It's a pity that Samsung abandoned such advanced and unique extension.
While the S Note app is still available for new S-Pen enabled devices, the feature is no longer there.
I spent a lot of time trying to find something similar. No results...
Samsung killed something great. I can see no point of putting more and more of baby toys into Notes and Tabs and removing things that are really productive.
I agree that some other features like action memo was to much integrated to the system to be continued, but Photo Note was something easy to maintain in newer S Note versions and I believe it would be also easy to implement it in Samsung Notes.
