Pdfs, Documents and Video files not opening in Dual Whatsapp - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+

I am unable to open pdfs, documents and video files from Dual Whatsapp. And also the downloaded file not appearing in file folder.

I tried reseting my dual whatsapp account, but not improvement . Same problem still exists.

As I am using Samsung Galaxy Note 10+

But at the same time I am able to view/download the pdfs, documents and video files in Main Whatsapp.

Dear Samsung support team, kindly consider this as a serious issue and try to resolve asap.

Same problem in my Note 10 lite. Bug in samsung software update. They will simply flash your phone at customer care, you have to start from scratch and it hardly helps. But Samsung wont acknowledge the issue. Back up on google drive, reinstall dual whatsapp. For some days it will work, say 2-3 days but after that it will recur.

Pls understand that your support is useless. They only flash the phone, the customer again has to reset things and after that the problem repeats. With so many complaints across so many models, you should have done something about it by now by appreciating that its not a model or particular phone related issue. Most unfortunate that you failed to address it in the june 2021 update i received yesterday despite so many complaints!

When I reported this bug of WhatsApp DualApp DualMessenger empty folder, I get this reply from Samsung on 06-Jul-2021:

This is with reference to your query regarding Samsung device. We understand you are facing issue in Dual WhatsApp and it must be inconvenient for you. Please be assured, we will do our best to resolve your concern.

As per log analysis issue caused in Dual WhatsApp as recently WhatsApp upgraded its version and it changed the file path where all media files are to be saved. Due to this change . Dual messenger doesn't sync saved at new path and so this is causing problem. We need confirmation from WhatsApp team regarding the path they will be using for saving their media files as in some devices we observed that WhatsApp was still using the old path. Samsung is trying to solve the problem quickly by contacting WhatsApp team. If they go with the new concept then we will be needing some time to prepare the fix. Meanwhile, we request you to please bear with us.
