Hi all.

I'm using a Note 9 since 2 years and some month.
Today i made a software update after like 6 months not doing so: **bleep** ME!
The screen now appears to be """"burned"""", with that crazy blurred or green rows between 20% and 80% brightness... under 20% color balance is better but I have no longer deep blacks and above 80% blacks are very clearly grays, like having "contrast to -100".

What's the funny thing?
I periodically check (like twice each month) the screen health!
Full 255 red, then full 255 green, then full 255 blue, and even white and black.... and my phone screen was FLAWLESS all the time! Not even a bit of burn in, not a dead pixel, not a row, no shadows, at any given brightness %.... just perfect!
I did this check 4 days ago! It was FLAWLESS!

Today: Software update > 5 minutes > boom! """"burned"""" display?
I don't drink it.
You lying!
This is 110% PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE!!

Now (sadly too late) I've discovered how many other samsung users are having this """"issue"""".
Samsung, you lost a customer FOREVER, and I plan to actively tell everyone I can reach to stay away from your products completely!

Or, you can fix this artificial """problem""" for me, and all the other users in a similar situation!

FY!

Warranty ended some month ago. Wasn't doing any sw update since 5 monts. I periodically checked (2time/month) screen health, doing full 255 red, then green, then blue, white, black. I had a FLAWLESS screen! No shadows, no dead pixels, no rows, perfect blacks! Did a sw update and "puf" my screen is

Samsung wouldn't want to loose such a valuable customer.

If the issue was due to an software update ( not by any physical damage or mechanical damage) you please share a error report with the log files after happening the issue. ( try to give within 15 minutes)

Discoloration problem started After september update...And then after 2 weeks display turned green....I took it to service center and I was advised for screen replacement.....I send an email to Samsung CEO but it didn't work.....I didn't want to pay for new display as it was expensive.
Now on 1st december 2021 I visited to Samsung service center and got my Note 9's display replaced (sadly I had to pay ₹13000)
But I m socked that the discoloration problem is still there....Colors are not normal.... It's looking faded....
I AM SURE NOW IT'S A SOFTWARE ISSUE.... SAMSUNG SHOULD FIX IT IMMEDIATELY.....but they are not listening. What do I do now.... Everyone is complaining about Note 9's display problem...
