Note8 security update

When can I expect the latest security update for the Note8? November security update is rolling out on other regions and here it's still on August. Note8 is still the latest flagship from Samsung. They should have a responsibility towards it.

forget it. Samsung support wrote me there would most likely be no update for the UAE Note 8.

But why is that.... Did we get it for free? Didn't we pay for it? 🙄

well, the Note line is finished. note 7 blew up. note 8 is miserable for having no real software support. why? s8 plus is the same. expect s9 plus to be compatible with s pen as an accessory to be purchased separately. note 9 is, for the most part, is a dead project. as the Note line is done, the Note 8 is forgotten by Samsung.

I was using a S5 till now... It got security updates regularly till the 3rd year... Sometimes late, but it got... I was expecting the same when I bought Note8 as atleast it's a new flagship. But I was wrong... 😑
