Note8 oreo review:
1) battery life is same as previous version
2)no any app crashes
3)some icons without frames shows frames like chrome,Google music which was not happening on nought 😕
4) phone has become a bit slower for app opening but the shutter and occasional lag is gone so mixed feelings 😐
5)No project treble support
6)keyboard touch response has improved

3. its a bug. may b will get fixed in next updtae.
4. it will take a day or two to get in flow with the system and apps. rest phone is more snappier that before.

Project Treble will only be available for phones which release with Oreo, not the ones which get updated to Oreo. Even the Nexus line hasn't got it.

Implementing Project Treble would require a full system wipe during update, which would be very inconvenient to most people oblivious to Project Treble.

essential phone has project trable support without wiping data. so it's possible without doing that also. same goes for Huawei p10 and mate10, pixel 1

I read somewhere on Xda that project Treble on Samsung phones would require a system repartition. It might be since Samsung uses a lot of proprietary features.

3. That is not a bug, apparently the icons of Google apps have been modified to have frames by default.

yes but then it should be without white frame surrounding chrome logo as the chrome logo should adopt that shape without white frame

Icons of most Google apps have been replaced with ones having a white background to look similar to Samsung's apps. The frames don't appear for any other app besides those from Google.
