Note 9 software update problem

Hi my friend is having note9 and he is still in android 8.1 but the latest update is android 10. Whenever he check for updates it's showing that the latest updates have already been installed.tried clearing the cache and tried resetting but it didn't solve the issue.Please suggest any working method to solve the issue.

install smart switch in laptop or pc and then try to update there.. u will definitely got update

then go to service center .. they will update it for u

Don't update in Android 10 ....camera quality is very poor in Android 10
