Note9 is good in-

1)Screen (2k and a high PPI density screen and HDR10.)

2)headphone jack.

3)better camera.

4)Has a Iris scanner and Heart rate monitor sensor.

S10lit is good in-

1)Has a better processor (Snapdragon 855 7nm means low battery usage then note 9 processor.)

2)Has a bigger Battery (4500mah)

3)Would have OS update support upto Android 12.

If you want a gaming phone then S10lite is a better option compared to Note9.And if you like a true flagship which has better spec. except processor then go for Note9.

S10 lite is better as it is latest.
If you want to buy a note device, then go with Note 10/10+ series.
Note 9 is considerably old. If you think that S Pen is all you want with a more professional feeling, then Note 9 can also be a better choice.

Note 9 though a good phone is now outdated. Go for S10 lite.

obviously note 9, thougg it is 1 and half year old, but slightly less processor which is more enough than mid range phone, and other specss are unbeatable. suprrb screen, full day battery life, superb sound, no lag (using heavy apps), good camera and above all S pen..now its your choice. I am using Note 9 more than 1 year and not thinking to change before 2023, because its a true flagship.
If you buy a new phone in this year after spending a huge money, it is obviously old technolgy within 1 year..but flagship remain unchanged for long year.
