Since an update last year, my Note 9 screen becomes completely non functional if adaptive display is on. It only works now on minimum or maximum brightness! Even then, its usually yellowish and discoloured. Pls help! Tired of using phone on minimum brightness- its not visible in daylight! And max brightness makes the phone so hot and drains battery..
Any intermediate brightness levels makes the phone screen grainy and slow, the touch doesn't work..and if locked, it becomes impossible to unlock because the screen just doesn't show anything !

Adjust color settings manually Hmm, something doesn't look quite right. Maybe the color balance is off. We can help you adjust the color settings.
From Settings, tap Display, and then tap Screen mode. Tap Vivid or Natural.
Next, adjust the slider to make the display look cooler or warmer. Tap Advanced settings to manually adjust the screen's color. Please be aware you can only adjust the White balance and Advanced settings while in Vivid mode.

Hi, thank you for the response. I have tried everything you have mentioned in your post. But the issue persists. If I increase or decrease the brightness on my phone, the screen either stops functioning completely or becomes yellowish and lags.
