Note 9 || Screen Off Memo

I've a blue Note 9 which comes with yellow pen. When I take notes while the screen is off, the yellow ink on pitch black screen looks badass. But as soon as I open the note in Samsung Notes app, the background is white. And the yellow ink on white background looks superugly and unreadable.

Shouldn't we get an option to set the background to black in Samsung Notes app?

You didn't get it did you? I'm saying yellow on black looks amazing. We need that same combination in Notes app as well. Why can't we change the background from white to black in Notes app?

Such a simple option to change BG colour and note page types (square, ruled, plain) was available in previous S Note. I wonder why it has been removed.

Yes. I remember the last time I had a Note 4, the notes app was much more functional.
