When I launch the camera app, next to the shutter shows the last picture taken with the phone. But unfortunately it also shows all other pictures in my gallery. So if I for example download a picture from the web, then that is the picture that will show. This has been an issue on nougat on S7, S8 and still has not been fixed on Note 8.

hello I just got my s8 and was suffering from the same problem. and found very simple fix for this problem. you can also follow below mentioned steps to resolve this problem. 1. Open the folder using my files which contain unwanted pictures that shows with camera roll. 2. create files with name ".nomedia" 3. now restart your device. I'm sure this will solve your problem. please let me know if this works for you.
