Does anybody face selective focus mode issue in which it doesnt do its job and message displays on screen " couldn't apply focus contrast. unable to find subject "...

on my note 8 i find this issue most of time

yes . jaha jayda light ho waha pic lo selective focus always kam karega .. aur face pe kam light hai to ye kam nahi karta

K ... have u tried this outside home ?.... in that scenario it display same thing or it works fine ?

1 On the preview screen, swipe upwards or downwards, or tap to switch to the front
camera for self-portraits.
2 On the shooting modes list, tap Selective focus.
3 Tap the image on the preview screen where the front camera should focus
