Note 8 Phone app Crash

My phone app is crashing frequently, when we go to the contact details or history. I had call recording on. Visiting the page is crashing. I have restarted, clear app data, cache etc. Still crashes #note8 #phone #Samsung #android9

Perform Clear catch and data of both Phone and Contacts app & then try.

As mentioned I did both.. Still it was crashing.

Take following steps...

1. Unmount the SD card if you're using & then try...

2. Perform reset "Settings" only from device Settings > General management > Reset > "Reset settings" & then try.

3. Perform "Wipe cache partition" from recovery mode & then try.

Even if it doesn't work then perform a factory reset on your device and then try. Even not, then take your device for servicing to Samsung authorised service centre.

Yes, I think note 8 have this issue as common because I'm going through the same issue in my note 8 and didn't get any solution as of now.

I got this fixed. I had a big call history. Close to 2k. I deleted all. Then it started working. All the other means I have tried apart from factory reset. This one only worked.
