Hi. I bought my Note 20 Ultra 5g in December 2020 from Samsung India online store. I have run a fresh setup twice and still my device hasn't received the December or November security Patch! It's the Exynos version.

no. it didn't work for me. the Smart Switch PC app for windows or for Mac doesn't recognize the Note 20 Ultra.

Okay. that's really strange Vimal0162. I spoke to Samsung Support over Whatsapp but they said Android R is due for January 2021 for Note 20 Ultra. But I am not sure why does that relate to security patches. That should be done for all the eligible devices. I thought it was a stupid Support which Samsung gives.

I think they will skip this security update and will give android 11 directly

Okay. Yes, maybe that's the reason. But many have reported getting the December update on their Exynos models of Note20 Ultra. That's why I am chasing this topic. Even getting the best of their device, the discrimination from #Samsung is worst.

Don't even bother. no new update available on or over smart switch . it's say your phone software is upto date and I've checked sammobile other website for the same. the last update was rolled out for note 20 ultra in india was in October after that no new software has been rolled out.

Okay. But I have read many blogs that they have started receiving December security patch for the Exynos versions of Note 20 Ultra. that's why I am chasing this issue. It's really poor on Samsung's part of such discriminations among their elite or mid range line ups.
