My Note 20 Ultra and the recently purchased Fit3 are interpreting my sleep data differently, even though the two are always connected. Samsung needs to get its act together with tracking sleep. Many people including me use fitness bands & smartwatchs only for tracking sleep patterns in order to improve sleep, because only after you have slept well can you even start thinking of workouts to improve fitness. Good sleep is the unquestionable first step in improving fitness, and therefore accurate tracking of sleep is the most important thing in a fitness band or smartwatch.
Sleep tracking in my Fit2 is garbage though its battery life is a dream, and sleep tracking on my Active2 is satisfactory but its battery life is miserable. When Samsung launched the Fit3, I thought it would fix both problems - sleep tracking and battery life. But though its battery life is OK, its sleep tracking and the related data interpretation is far from satisfactory.
Samsung, if you're listening, please 🙏 fix the issue with a software update for the Fit3. 🙏
