Note 10 lite charging issues

My phone dont charge like ot use to be (dont show super fast charging), only shows charging and charge very slow. My charger dont charge my phone but it does charge other phones super fast. My phone charge with others chargers but not fast charging. Any help

Hi, JacquesC please follow the steps below.

 

1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select battery and device care.
4. Select Battery.
5. Select Save power.
6. Select Power saving mode: MID

Kindly check your battery usage.

To check the battery usage, go to

1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select battery and device care.
4. Select Battery.
5. Select Battery usage.

From here you can see what applications and processes are using the most power.

Kindly optimize your device.

1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Select battery and device care.
4. Tap Optimize now.

If the issue persists, please perform a soft reset of your device.

Press and hold the power and volume down buttons for about 10 seconds.

*The device may take a screenshot, however, keep holding the buttons for a few more seconds.

I had the same thing on my note 8. Battery was great for 3 years but thereafter started loosing charge faster and faster. Unfortunately it's a fact: these batteries only have a certain no of charging cycles. Over time the battery looses its ability to hold and keep a charge. Scientists still haven't solved this problem with batteries. They have come a great way with Lithium Ion batteries...but who knows what they will have created in a few centuries!! For now we are stuck with this problem unfortunately. In the good old days one could change one's cell battery easily. Now days thanks to Apple most modern cell phones have a sealed in battery.
