why there isn't a applock on Galaxy Note 8??

It has Secure folder and screen lock, so what is the point of individual app locks?

some times we dnt want someone to go through our whatspp or facebook or gallery and we cant keep these in secure folder so that is important in some situation.

Isn't that why the phone has a screen lock?

you can put a shortcut of an app secured by secure folder on home screen so that no one else will see other contents. just goto secure folder->edit apps->create shortcut on homescreen (or something like that) and you are done.

go to device security in note 8 click below the anti malware from there it will direct you to download mcafee application it has individual application lock.
