the microphone on my note 8 all of a sudden stopped working. I tried running the voice recorder and video recorder to check this issue(files attached) and all I could hear was a static noise getting recorded through the mic.
Surprisingly, the issue fixed on its own. But it keeps popping up every once in a while. Anyone else experiencing this ?
Found a thread on the internet and seems the problem is widespread. With of course a very funny solution. Samsung! whats going on?

I also had same issue. It stopped working when I was using Google Assistant. It also didn't worked when I tried using Bixby. Issue resolved on its own after five minutes. But I am still not sure if it's fixed.
