Samsung Note 20 ultra uses the Lowest Quality of Motherboard which has max life of 1.5 year to 2 years. From last 20 days struggling to convey to Samsung team but nobody has a responsibility to listen to their Loyal customer (since 12 years+) 😵‍ I used almost every Galaxy Note since 12 years but I found Note 20 has Quality issue. 😕 Just want to convey to my friends before buying phone worth 1 lakh please see the post 🙏

Try changing SIM card. It may be defective or after few years, the contacts start eroding.
My network stability improved after changing my 6-7 years old SIM card.

Oh-k. Strange to see that few devices are working totally fine and few have issues.

I hope you've tried the SIM card in other phones and likewise, tried other SIM card(s) in current phone.

I also guess you have already checked these websites (solutions) in detail:

1) https://www.infofuge.com/samsung-galaxy-note-20-ultra-5g-no-sim-card-error-fix/

2) https://www.getdroidtips.com/samsung-note-20-ultra-no-sim-card-error/

Also, I take it that your phone is Indian model (not region-locked).
Those imported locked models may cause issues with SIM cards.

Finally, change network mode to LTE instead of 5G and reboot phone.

If none of this works, it maybe a hardware defect like you mention and needs replacement.

But posting the same stuff everyday on Samsung Members won't solve the problem.
I don't think Samsung technical team goes through these posts, otherwise a lot of issues/pushing regular updates would have been fixed by now 😅
Especially, Samsung India is super-lazy nowadays.
