Hi everyone, 

I have written to samsung support team and received below response that states our Note 20 ultra 5G (exynos varient) will not support jio 5G SA network. 
This feels like we have been cheated.

Versions: SM-N986B (International); SM-N986U (USA); SM-N986U1 (USA unlocked); SM-N986W (Canada); SM-N9860 (China); SM-N986N (Korea) but it shows only these varients on gsmarena. And if I refer the device model from phone settings it shows SM-N986B

I have checked on the mobile box as well but it doesn't have any bands mentioned on it so not able to verify

Is it samsung fault or ours...Even in their website it says note 20 ultra 5g have n28 and n78
700mhz and 3000mhz which is exactly what jio uses.
We are mad coz of the **bleep** promises.
The Sd865+ model got the SA..which if fine...it got mmwave support too.But that doesn't have to do with anything...we can't expect mmwave any time soon...
The fact that Devices like F23 can get SA with just having upto sub6 why can't Exynos 990.
It's Samsung fault not informing...That's why we demand.

Yeah this is so pathetic from Samsung as not communicating with the users with actual information.
Can you share the link where u were able to see this information abt bands on Samsung.

@Saleem2001 So today I have called Samsung customer support and the agent told me initially that this is jio issue as their database is not updated and wait for sometime as this is not our issue but jio database issue etc etc. So I have informed him that I have an email from Samsung support team & whatsapp support team stating For note 20 ultra 5G varient the SA is not applicable and as soon as I shared this with him he immediately said that he will get this checked with Mobile team and put me on hold and after 5 min came back and said that for note 20 ultra SM-N986B 5G SA is not applicable.
Upon pushing him further that while purchasing the device it was informed that this supports SA & NSA bands he said will raise a complaint and said we will try and give the update.
