Even after " Turrning off the background use for the app, Turrning off the background data nd putting phone on DND " nd ressarting my phone so the settings are changed properly
I still received messages despite of not allowed background use
I still received notification despite of DND with no app notification ON
If it is not supposed to work then why this feature?
This issue is annoying since many previous android version! So do something Samsung.
I got your point. You said both, that's why clarified. Apps in deep sleep are not supposed to run in background. Generate an error report and send to Samsung.
DND is controlled by Trai. Event hough one opts for full dnd it doesn't work. We all face similar issues. Only control is to go for good message spam app.
