Green line issue and Samsung forcing customers to pay for repairs

I know many of you have recently faced the infamous "green line" issue on Samsung devices. I too got this around 2 weeks back.

I went to the service center but since I had purchased the device in Oct. 2021, they denied free repairs.

OnePlus is offering lifetime free replacement / repair policy for this green line issue. Then why is Samsung denying it?
First, they purposefully do this thing (through software updates?) and then deny their mistake.

I also mailed Samsung Head office, even written to CEO office, and I got same reply (> 3 year old device not eligible for free repairs).

I know these mails are just reaching Samsung customer support people and not actual Head of Operations because these people just keep repeating same thing like robots. Their hands are "tied".

And now suddenly, Samsung drops the price for S24 Ultra in India which is very suspicious because same issue will appear on these devices in < 4 years and then they will deny free repairs!

Has any of you got free display replacement for > 3 year old Samsung phone? What did you do differently to make Samsung accept their mistake?

Hmm...that's true. But these new devices may also get green line issue and if > 3 years, Samsung will again deny free repairs. What to do then?

Due to this arrogant behavior of Samsung the Samsung sales are down for s25 and other devices

Goimg forward, if enough people in India boycott Samsung phones, they will get a strong message. Samsung was not like this few years ago, but maybe changes in top management have resulted in this recent arrogance.

I really liked Note series and was planning to upgrade to S24 Ultra soon but this Samsung-made 'green line' is going to change my opinion.
Now need to look into other options from 2025.

Starting from s20 series so far s 21 s22 and s22 gave faced the green line issue next is s24
