I advice you to get the Gear S3 frontier. It's great and does everything one can seek from a smart watch. It is well build, IP68 dust and water resistant, MIL-STD80, has HR sensor, barometer, GPS,etc. The tizen OS is intuitive. I will get that watch next month when my exams get over. So it's a great option. I too use a note 8 so I know it suits it.
