*Getting a call* - Looks at the watch to see whose calling and attend the call to speak with the war buds. 

*Listening to music* - switch tracks with the gear S3 and listen to the songs in buds.

*Replies to texts* - notification on your buds and replies with the watch. 

All that and much more without taking out the phone out.
