Finger print sensor stopped working all of a sudden

I took my device to samsung care center and they
rejected to cover it under warranty because of a
minor dot dent on the back. This is so ridiculous
that firstly they are packing up every thing as
a bundle to name it as display folder and thats
covering 80% part of the device. Now even a
small scratch or dent will avoid the completely
warranty as per their policy and they wont repair
your device. Dent happened 6 months before
fingerprint sensor stopped working. So it has
nothing to with each other.
So disappointed with you Samsung.
They closed the first ticket after uploading all the
photographs and then when I escalated this to
CEO, they asked me to visit samsung care again
and submit my device. I purchases a new spare
device and submitted my samsung phone. After
2 days they again denied to cover it warranty. It
costed me not just harassment but also additional
loss of 15-16k bucks. Now they are asking me to
pay another 21k bucks for the repairs. Really?

But in tag you mentioned its note20 ultra


Can you please say when did you purchased your device, & is it under warranty now

Yes it is samsung note 20 ultra and its under warranty till Oct 2022.

I think if its under warranty then only a tiny dent wouldn't void warranty
