Finger print sensor not responding

Suddenly my note9 finger print sensor is not responding. Every time i try to unlock my phone with finger print it shows" finger print sensor is not responding, try again later". Turned my phone off and restart several times but still the problem is unsolved. Can any one help me to solve this problem?

Ye problem aap bata rahe ho to is me sensor kharab ho ga yo .... to aap ko near service center visit karo aap ka issue solved ho jaye ga.......
